General English Program

Duration: 1-48 weeks
(full time minimum 20 hours per week - part time 16 hours per week)

Course Information

• Milton General English language placement test helps place student at their appropriate level from Beginner to Advanced
• Students are tested every two weeks to find out their progress
• Students get regular feedback on their progress
• Students receive a Certificate of Attainment upon completion of their course and a Certificate of Attendance (for student visas).

Friday morning skills classes may include the following;

• Writing skills
• Listening and pronunciation
• English for Work
• Reading Skills
• Conversation class

Classes finish at 12.15 on Fridays.

Sample Timetable

Functions are lessons where students are given practical English language to use in everyday situations such as interactions at a bank, a restaurant or on the telephone. These lessons focus on speaking, listening and some writing.
